Overdue update but here goes: Paul got home a little over a week ago. Tristan is so happy to have his daddy home. Lucas was a bit standoffish at first but it did not take long to warm up to Paul.
We just relaxed the first day and went to church together on Sunday. My license expired so I had to get my tx licence gah. We decided to go to San Antonio for a few days and fell in love with that city! We stayed at a wonderful resort the Hyatt Country Hill Resort close to Seaworld. We initially booked for two nights but since we enjoyed it there so much we extended for one more night. We shopped at different malls, ate at different restaurants we don't have in Hell Paso lol we got our Hard Rock Cafe Tshirts hah I know we are lame ;) and we got our Cheese cake factory desserts. Walked the Riverwalk twice and went on a boat tour, saw the Alamo, all the shows at Seaworld and hubby took me to San Marcos to the outlet malls so I could shop for new clothes for me since I never get anything for myself. The kids are spoiled rotten with Janie and Jack (lucas) and ralph Lauren, gymboree and gap for them both. The only thing that sucked was the 8+ hour drive with a whole lot of nothing in between these two cities. We are home now and this afternoon I got my hair did and it looks great! I'm very happy with how the male stylist colored and cut my hair. I was looking for a new purse but realized that with 2 little ones it is better to get a cute wristlets instead since I would use that more and it is easy to put it in my huge skiphop duo diaperbag. Paul also got me a new iPhone and I love it! It is duch s cool and very useful gadget and I (shouldn't have to) don't have to worry about my phone to take a crap either since all I have is the cellphone. He picked a cute pink protection cover too and while I wanted to pick a different color, I chose what he picked for me anyways lol. Tomorrow AM we need to get new IDs since Paul's ID is about to expire and mine looks like it is starting to peel so I want to make sure it is still ok or not even though mine does not expire until next year. Paul said that he will call branch tomorrow also to see what options are available after the deployment because we don't want to get stuck here for the next lifecycle. We are both excited to find out what is next. Paul said he will take anything but stay here. This week we will try to visit two schools for Tristan. For PK he will probably go to a Catholic school. Anyways, typing on this phone is tiring so I am going to stop for now and enjoy Paul being home with us til we say goodbye again :(. All is well here and I hope everything is going well for my LJ friends.
